oday, we are pleased to offer another Movado Celestograf, an exceptionally rare version featuring a 34mm François Borgel case, in exceptional condition from the 1950s. This specific model, reference 14970, known as the Astrograph-Celestograf, stands out for its unique details.

The dial is in a two-tone configuration with gold hands and markers, and a blue date track adds an elegant touch of contrast. An exotic feature is the day and month display in Spanish, along with the “Switzerland” marking at 6 o'clock instead of the traditional “Swiss.”

The original crown, also designed by Taubert & Fils, enhances the quality and authenticity of this piece. In near-new condition, such remarkable preservation is extremely rare for a watch from the 1950s, making it a true treasure for movado collectors.
