OVERVIEW
Vintage watches often captivate with their distinctive charm and character... and this Movado is an excellent example! Dating back to the 1950s, this time-only Movado model features a stunning gilt black dial with dauphine gold hands and a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock. The signed Movado crown enhances its classic allure, reminiscent of the elegant design of the Patek Philippe Ref. 2509. In fact, the resemblance extends to the pyramid indices on the dial and the crown, mirroring those of the Patek 2509. Yet, this Movado offers the opportunity to own a piece of refined horology at a fraction of the price.
The watch is powered by the renowned Movado Caliber 75, celebrated for its durability and exceptional reliability. Housed in a well-crafted F. Borgel case, it features a modest yet sophisticated 35mm diameter, which stands favorably alongside the Patek Philippe Ref. 565 and 2508/2509 in terms of aesthetic presence.
The watch is currently fitted with a high-quality period-style leather strap that complements the tachymetric scale color. Additionally, it comes with a generic steel bracelet, offering versatility for different styling preferences.
